I saw an axolotl a month or two ago and was inspired to paint this for no other reason than I like their weird, macabre ghostliness :)
Might add a bit more detail at some later stage, but for now I just want to upload something!

Wow! This is so beautiful! Which is even more amazing considering the subject, axolotls are very silly pudgy little things, and are rarely done up with such beauty.
