Well, here it is :) - a new tutorial as some of you have requested :)

Here you can see the process I went through to create my image, Delicate

I really hope this helps some of you (especially those who asked for help in the first place).

If you have any questions about this tutorial or if there's anything I've missed out or not explained clearly enough then don't hesitate to tell me :)
Feedback is always appreciated ;P xxx

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY FAVES
I really appreciate every one of them

Erm, did I not mention it? sorry, hehe - I think I just used the same brush as I did for the skin..I usually use the same brush for everything - a hard round brush set to pen pressure, min diameter from 0-50% (depends, hair is usually 0%)....erm, quite a low opacity for the base layers - about 11-15% high opacity for the individual hairs (about 80%)...hehe hope I didn't miss anything there, if I did, just say :) x

thank you so much! I have been trying to teach myself how to paint digitally and I am ashamed to admit that my attempts have been far from successful. This has clarified so much, thank you. ^_^

I have a quick question... Or two. =) Did you sketch on the computer or on paper and then scanned it? And then, how did you get the shades to look like you painted them on? Just wondering thanks! Great tutorial!

I sketched it on paper first - then I scanned it into my PC, opened it up in PS and sketched new lines over the top of my drawing on a new layer (because the pencil lines looked really rubbish ;P)

And what do you mean by getting the shades to "look like I painted them on"?
Thanks for stopping by :D Hehe sorry this is a really late reply too! x
